Product Description

The greatest superpower of all isn't to be part spider, part man, or to cast magic spells--the greatest power is the power to create.
Daniel X has that power.

Daniel's secret abilities -- like being able to manipulate objects and animals with his mind or to recreate himself in any shape he chooses -- have helped him survive. But Daniel doesn't have a normal life. He is the protector of the earth, the Alien Hunter, with a mission beyond what anyone's imagining.

From the day that his parents were brutally murdered before of his very eyes, Daniel has used his unique gifts to hunt down their assassin. Finally, with the help of The List, bequeathed to him in his parents' dying breath, he is closing in on the killer.

Now, on his own, he vows to take on his father's mission--and to take vengeance in the process.

Great fiction book!!!

As an eleven year old reader who loves SCIFI, this book is great! When my mom didn't like it, (not for adults) I decided to try it, and really liked it! It may be another SCIFI series like Harry Potter or Men in black, but has the same or better quality. Better than almost all other SCIFI books I have read, I can't wait for the rest of the series!!!!!!!!
I'm surprised at the low ratings

I read this book in one day and found it much along the lines of Harry Potter in the respect that Daniel X is a 15 year old super hero. It reads fast and well. I put it in the mail to my grandson today and suggest to all of you that expected a "regular" James Patterson book to send it to a boy you love. He'll thank you for it. (I "expected" a regular James Patterson book too, but am so happy I didn't read these reviews first.... the book is fun.)
A fine narration by NBC actor Milo Ventimiglia

James Patterson and Michael Ledwidge's THE DANGEROUS DAYS OF DANIEL X receives a fine narration by NBC actor Milo Ventimiglia as it tells of a man born with the power to create - a secret which has helped him survive yet is proving his greatest challenge. Add a dilemma which makes his power key to mankind's survival and you have a gripping thriller which springs to life in audio.
Another Excellent Book By James Patterson

Daniel X was a totally different book from James Patterson's normal books, but still the high quality that I have come to expect from him. He is by far one of the best writers we have had in a very long time. Read this book, you will be hooked from page 1!
A totally fun and fast pace read!

I highly recommend this book. I finished it in 2 days and there wasn't a moment that I wanted to stop reading it. I could tell Patterson had fun with this title and I am looking forward to more in this series.
